Visa Requirements and Fees
for Balikbayan
Former Filipino citizens who
have been out of the country still enjoys one year visa
free entry to the Philippines. It is necessary to bring
identification document of their former nationality
(i.e. old passport or birth certificate) if asked to
show evidence of nationality. The Balikbayan priviledges
"are not extendible to the family members of Filipino
balikbayan".
Spouses and children of Balikbayans are no longer entitled
to the Visa Free Entry privileges.
There are special requirements for
the entry of unaccompanied minors. Additional information
