Two ways:
1. ring 1300 78 27 27 ask for Melboure representative
2. here is the link to the Filipino channel guide - for a peak at what is in store for you.
http://www.tarbs.com.au/channels/guides/TFC_31-01-2003.pdf
You can subscribe online at:

Hope this helps

| The tarbs people told me it was $25 for complete installation of everything plus a 12 month contract of $62.95 for the subscription fee. |

Well well well... at least we know.
Joel, I think they serve Perth as well. Am not sure about that. Better contact them if you can afford the monthly fee. I guess its comparable to my monthly broaband access with Optus.
My God! If you want niceties in life, it seems like here is the monthly breakdown:
Optus Internet Cable Broadband - $64/month
Filipino Channel - $63/month
Mobile Phone - (average $80/month)
Landline + Intl Calls (average $150/month)
Not to mention normal monthly expense:
Electricity - $80/month
Gas - $60/month
Water - $60/month
Rent - $500/month
It totals to about AUD $1,003
I did not mention food, outside entertainment, petrol....If anyone can add, that would be appreciated!

$63 a month?
I will just have to settle to listening and viewing the Frontpage Archives at the Philippine Inquirer site for the time being....
When all these expenses add up, it's unbelievable how much it comes up to!
